Yes. Residential moving is the core of what we do, whether you’re moving out of a studio apartment, a condo, or a full house. We do take on some commercial moves, but most of our work is helping customers move their homes across Burbank and the greater Los Angeles area.

We’re a local moving company. Hollywoodland Movers is based in Burbank and handles moves within the greater Los Angeles area, from apartments and small moves to full household moves. We don’t offer long-distance or out-of-state moves, so every job we take on is a local move.

Our pricing is simple: hourly labor based on crew size, a three-hour minimum, and drive time, with furniture pads, stretch wrap, tape, dollies, wardrobe boxes, and mattress bags included. We ask about stairs, elevators, and parking beforehand to recommend the right crew. We’re locally owned by Michael Weeks and have completed well over 100 moves throughout Los Angeles.

Yes. Our full-service packing can cover the entire home or just the kitchen, glassware, artwork, and other fragile or time-consuming items. For packing jobs, we can provide cardboard boxes, packing paper, bubble wrap, tape, and other supplies for an additional supply fee.

Start by decluttering and deciding what isn’t coming with you, including garages and closets. Label boxes by the room they’re going to. Tell us about stairs, elevators, parking, and the distance to the truck at both addresses, and check elevator reservations or moving hours with your building.

Yes. If you’ve already arranged a rental truck, POD, or moving container, our Labor-Only Moving Services cover the loading and unloading while you handle the transportation. Labor-only crews can also move larger furniture within a home, provide moving labor at a storage unit, or move and place furniture for home staging companies.
